Kris and Phill's Wedding in Newcastle

Sunday we had the privilege of witnessing Kris and Phill become husband and wife. If you've ever lived for any amount of time in the Seattle area, you'll know how important the weather forecast becomes when planning a special event. God was certainly smiling on these two, because the weather could not have been more gorgeous for a winter day in January (the following day returned to typical rain with a mix of snow showers!) The sun was shining, so we went up to the Newcastle Golf Course to take advantage of the beautiful panoramic view of Seattle and the mountain range. Here's one of my favorite places to take pictures...

Kris has the most beautiful blue eyes...

Raina was one of the sweetest little flower girls I've ever seen. I would have loved more time just to entertain her while creating great pictures.

One truly unique aspect to Kris and Phill's wedding was the number of family and friends that traveled from long distances to join with them on their wedding day. I think just a handful of guests were from the local area. I don't remember all the nations represented, but I do know that Pill's family flew in from England and his best-man Jonathan came from Israel. Wow! How special it was to have that kind of support to begin married life.

Kris's dad Phil prayed a blessing over the couple...

This is why I love having my girls assist in our business. Ashley was stationed in the balcony during the ceremony, and was able to capture the event from a unique viewpoint. I'm so grateful for their help and creative perspective!

Introducing Mr. and Mrs. Jones!

Kris and Phill, it was an honor to be with you on your wedding day. We had so much fun creating images as well as documenting your day, and pray you will be blessed by your wedding photos. Enjoy the sun in Maui, and we'll be in touch with you when you return. Blessings to you!
